The Sarawak Discovery Tour is a 4D/3N package that brings you on a journey to discover Sarawak’s natural beauty. The highlights of this tour include a visit to Sarawak’s capital city Kuching to see its famous landmarks and buildings, the Semenggoh Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Center and a visit to a traditional longhouse village. You’ll also get to spend a night at the River Lodge that faces the Lemanak River and observes facets of tribal lifestyle.

Day 1	You arrive in Kuching, where a tour guide will greet you warmly and assist you in checking-in to the hotel. The Kuching City tour begins in the afternoon. You’ll visit the Cat Monument, the Tua Pek Kong Temple; the oldest in the city and the world-renowned Sarawak Museum. You’ll also get the chance to see Fort Margherita, the Astana (Former palace of the Brooke Rajahs, founders of Sarawak), the Colonial Courthouse and the City Tower for a panoramic view of the city. Finally, take a walk on the Kuching Waterfront where you’ll have the chance to shop for souvenirs.
Day 2	In the morning, you’ll depart for the Semenggoh Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Center where you can observe Orang-Utans in their natural habitat. This place covers an area of 740 acres, a sanctuary for displaced Orang-Utans that have been trained to return to the wild. There are feeding times scheduled during the day where you can watch where semi-wild Orang-Utans come down from the vast tree canopy for bananas and other fruits. After the visit, you’ll depart for the overnight Lemanak River Longhouse adventure. The journey to the river takes about 4 hours, where you’ll pass by some pleasant scenery that include paddy fields, pepper plantations, traditional villages before hitting a tiny town for lunch. At the river, native longboats will take you up to an Iban longhouse village. This river is home to the famous Iban tribe that were once fearsome warriors and pirates. Today, they cultivate their living by farming, fishing and hunting in the lush rainforest. Once you reach the longhouse in the late afternoon, you’ll enjoy a simple dinner before an evening of traditional music and dance starts, accompanied with rounds and rounds of tuak, a native rice wine. Finally, you’ll spend the night in the River Lodge.
Day 3	You’ll have breakfast at the Guesthouse before taking part in a blowpipe and cockfight demonstration. Afterwards, it’s a trip into the woods for a nature walk where you’ll visit a pepper farm, cocoa gardens and an Iban burial ground. Upon completion, you’ll return to the river jetty for a journey back to the city with lunch along the way. Finally, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
Day 4	The tour concludes with a transfer to the Kuching International Airport for your departure flight.

Rates quoted are nett with driver and guide where applicable (unless otherwise stated).
Rates quoted are for Private & SIC in tours or packages (unless stated otherwise). SIC booking minimum 2 people.
Expenses other than those specified in each tour itinerary e.g. airport taxes, additional meals, sightseeing, cost of passport, visas or other documentation, laundry, liquor, excess baggage charges, tips, personal or baggage insurance, cable, telephone or communications charges, or any items of a personal nature are not included in the price quoted.
Rates exclude entrance fees to place of visit (unless stated otherwise).
The Management reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw the package anytime without prior notice.
Booking is not confirmed until a confirmation number is advised and FULL PAYMENT is collected.
A valid major credit card number is required with all reservations. Debit Cards are not accepted
for confirming reservations. Full payment will be collected upon confirmation. Payment will be forfeited if booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to pick-up date and in the event of no show.
For bookings cancelled 30 days before tour date: full amount less administration fee equivalent to 5% of the total value or MYR50.00, whichever is greater.
For bookings cancelled 20 days before tour date: 75% of the total price refunded.
For bookings cancelled 15 days before tour date: 50% of the total price refunded.
For any bookings cancelled less than 14 working days prior to the pick-up date: NO REFUND
Any changes to your reservation, amendment in booking dates, hour or vehicle type in full or in part, must be made through our office and NOT through the operator.
The amendments must be made in writing, quoting the booking reference number and the email address you originally used to make your booking.
All amendment requests are subject to reconfirmation and availability.
If the amendment results in a refund of payment, an administration fee will be charged on the amount to be refunded equivalent to 5% of the total value or MYR50, whichever is greater.
An amendment fee of MYR25.00 will be charged for any amendments after the payment voucher has been issued, except where this involves additional days, tours, number of rooms, or number of people booked. Cancellation of any services in whole or in part is subject to the above cancellation policy.

Child Policy: Child Rate applicable for children aged between 2 to 12 years.
