Klias River & Wetlands

Situated approximately 120 kilometres south of Kota Kinabalu, the Klias River & Wetlands is a natural haven for animals and birdlife, with its most-famous resident being the weird-but-wonderful Proboscis monkeys. The mangrove forest reserve along the river offers you the wonderful opportunity to observe a fascinating plethora of wildlife in their natural habitat. Among the more common sights are the monkeys – Proboscis, Long-tailed Macaque and Silver Langur – as well as a variety of tropical birds flitting about. You might even catch sight of some crocodiles coming to the water’s edge to hunt for prey.

Lok Kawi Wildlife Park
Otherwise known as Lok Kawi Zoo, Lok Kawi Wildlife Park is fully developed by the Sabah Wildlife Department and is located along the old Penampang-Papar road approximately 15 kilometres from the city centre. Consisting of two components, zoological (animals) and botanical (plants), this family-oriented park features exotic and endangered species such as the Sumatran rhinoceros, the Proboscis monkeys, the Malayan tigers, the Orang Utan, the Borneo Pygmy elephants and colourful hornbill birds. The botanical component takes visitors along a 1.4-kilometre nature trail which provides plenty of opportunities to examine some rare plant species up close.

Rates quoted are nett with driver and guide where applicable (unless otherwise stated).
Rates quoted are for Private & Joining Group (SIC) in tours or packages (unless stated otherwise). Joining Group (SIC) booking minimum 2 people.
Expenses other than those specified in each tour itinerary e.g. airport taxes, additional meals, sightseeing, cost of passport, visas or other documentation, laundry, liquor, excess baggage charges, tips, personal or baggage insurance, cable, telephone or communications charges, or any items of a personal nature are not included in the price quoted.
Rates exclude entrance fees to place of visit (unless stated otherwise).
The Management reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw the package anytime without prior notice.
Booking is not confirmed until a confirmation number is advised and FULL PAYMENT is collected.
A valid major credit card number is required with all reservations. Debit Cards are not accepted for confirming reservations. Full payment will be collected upon confirmation. Payment will be forfeited if booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to pick-up date and in the event of no show.
For bookings cancelled 30 days before tour date: full amount less administration fee equivalent to 5% of the total value or MYR50.00, whichever is greater.
For bookings cancelled 20 days before tour date: 75% of the total price refunded.
For bookings cancelled 15 days before tour date: 50% of the total price refunded.
For any bookings cancelled less than 14 working days prior to the pick-up date: NO REFUND
Any changes to your reservation, amendment in booking dates, hour or vehicle type in full or in part, must be made through our office and NOT through the operator.
The amendments must be made in writing, quoting the booking reference number and the email address you originally used to make your booking.
All amendment requests are subject to reconfirmation and availability.
If the amendment results in a refund of payment, an administration fee will be charged on the amount to be refunded equivalent to 5% of the total value or MYR50, whichever is greater.
An amendment fee of MYR25.00 will be charged for any amendments after the payment voucher has been issued, except where this involves additional days, tours, number of rooms, or number of people booked. Cancellation of any services in whole or in part is subject to the above cancellation policy.
All entrance fees quoted are subject to change without prior notice.
Child Policy: Child Rate applicable for children aged between 2 to 12 years 50% from adult rate.
