Kinabalu Park, Poring, Sapi Island & Lok Kawi Wildlife Park

The Kinabalu Adventure is a 4-day and 3-night tour package that takes you across the beautiful Crocker Range, a series of vast mountains that provide a panoramic view of the countryside and hills. While en route to Kinabalu Park, you’ll get to see the magnificent Mount Kinabalu, the highest peak in Southeast Asia. This park is a World Heritage Site with an amazing diversity of flora and fauna, and you’ll get on one of the many trails to explore the rainforest with a guided tour.

You’ll also visit the Poring Hot Springs, which was discovered and developed by the Japanese during World War II. The Poring Hot Springs shares the same rainforest range with Kinabalu Park, making it an equally diverse area for wildlife. The hot springs are piped into Japanese-styled open-air baths, where you can take a dip in the sulphuric hot waters that are reputed to be therapeutic. Finally, take a jaunt up on the 41 m canopy walk in Poring to see the spectacular rainforest below.

Next up on the tour is Sapi Island, which is just 20-minutes away by boat from Kota Kinabalu. Here, the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park beckons you to come and savour its beautiful beaches with warm sand and a bright sun. On the island, you can engage in various activities such as picnicking, snorkeling and scuba diving besides lazing around. The day is yours to enjoy at your own time and leisure.

Finally, you’ll head to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, a zoo that is located along the old Penampang – Papar road, which is 15 km away from the city. Here, visitors can see wildlife species endemic to Borneo and some from Peninsular Malaysia including Orang-Utans, Asian elephants, tigers, hornbills and much more.

Itinerary

Day 1	Meet and greet at airport, followed by transfer to hotel with free & easy time
Day 2	07:30 (10 Hours)	- Depart for Kinabalu Park for a guided nature trek on one of the many trails in the park. - Head to Poring Hot Springs for a refreshing dip in sulphuric waters and a 41 m canopy walk
Day 3	08:45 (Full Day)	- Depart and explore Sapi Island
Day 4	08:45 (4 Hours)	- Visit Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. - Transfer from hotel to airport for departure

Please be informed the Canopy Walkway in Poring Hot Spring will be partialy closed for works maintenance as stated below:- Date: 1st July 2009 until 31st August 2009.

Rates quoted are nett with driver and guide where applicable (unless otherwise stated).
Rates quoted are for Private & SIC in tours or packages (unless stated otherwise). SIC booking minimum 2 people.
Expenses other than those specified in each tour itinerary e.g. airport taxes, additional meals, sightseeing, cost of passport, visas or other documentation, laundry, liquor, excess baggage charges, tips, personal or baggage insurance, cable, telephone or communications charges, or any items of a personal nature are not included in the price quoted.
Rates exclude entrance fees to place of visit (unless stated otherwise).
The Management reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw the package anytime without prior notice.
Booking is not confirmed until a confirmation number is advised and FULL PAYMENT is collected.
A valid major credit card number is required with all reservations. Debit Cards are not accepted
for confirming reservations. Full payment will be collected upon confirmation. Payment will be forfeited if booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to pick-up date and in the event of no show.
For bookings cancelled 30 days before tour date: full amount less administration fee equivalent to 5% of the total value or MYR50.00, whichever is greater.
For bookings cancelled 20 days before tour date: 75% of the total price refunded.
For bookings cancelled 15 days before tour date: 50% of the total price refunded.
For any bookings cancelled less than 14 working days prior to the pick-up date: NO REFUND
Any changes to your reservation, amendment in booking dates, hour or vehicle type in full or in part, must be made through our office and NOT through the operator.
The amendments must be made in writing, quoting the booking reference number and the email address you originally used to make your booking.
All amendment requests are subject to reconfirmation and availability.
If the amendment results in a refund of payment, an administration fee will be charged on the amount to be refunded equivalent to 5% of the total value or MYR50, whichever is greater.
An amendment fee of MYR25.00 will be charged for any amendments after the payment voucher has been issued, except where this involves additional days, tours, number of rooms, or number of people booked. Cancellation of any services in whole or in part is subject to the above cancellation policy.
