Terengganu Tour

This scenic tour allows you to experience the tranquil state of Terengganu, through a journey along fishing villages, coconut plantations and Malay homes.

You will observe how Malays make traditional delicacies such as ‘Lemang’; rice cooked in bamboo shoots, salted fish and ‘Keropok’, which are fish crackers fried to a crisply texture. Other sights on the tour are locals using trained monkeys to climb coconut trees, plucking the fruits, and then chucking them to the ground for harvesting.

We will head next to Kuala Terengganu, the capital, to see the ceremonial palace of the Sultan and several ancient buildings in Chinatown. Next, we visit the Turtle Information Center (May – September) where you’ll see sea turtles hatching for a new life in the sea. Finally, we stop by some local handicraft places to see ‘Pandan’ weaving, brassware and a silk factory.

9. Booking is not confirmed until a confirmation number is advised and FULL PAYMENT is collected.
10. A valid major credit card number is required with all reservations. Debit Cards are not accepted for confirming reservations. Full payment will be collected upon confirmation. Payment will be forfeited if booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to pick-up date and in the event of no show.
11. For bookings cancelled 8 to 14 days prior to pick-up date, a 50% cancellation charge will apply.
12. For any bookings cancelled more than 14 working days prior to the pick-up date, a sum of MYR50.00 or 5% of the total cost (whichever is higher) is charged for administration fees. Such cancellation MUST be made by email of fax to Asia Web Direct (M) Sdn Bhd.
13. Any changes to your reservation, amendment in booking dates, hour or vehicle type in full or in part, must be made through our office and NOT through the operator.
    
    The amendments must be made in writing, quoting the booking reference number and the email address you originally used to make your booking.
    
    All amendment requests are subject to reconfirmation and availability.
    
    If the amendment results in a refund of payment, an administration fee will be charged on the amount to be refunded equivalent to 5% of the total value or MYR50, whichever is greater.
14. All entrance fees quoted are subject to change without notice.
