Kuala Lumpur Suburb Tour
Istana Sharif Ali, Batu Caves
The Kuala Lumpur Suburb Tour is a trip to see modern and traditional life along the fringes of the city. First, we head to the Ambassador Row; a street that is filled with embassies, Istana Sharif Ali; a Malay palace and Malay villages. We’ll stop at the Royal Selangor Pewter, the largest factory in the world that manufactures this special metal. Here, you’ll be show the different processes to make this alloy, such as casting, filling, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving. Then, we head to the Batik Factory to see how this traditional Malay fabric is designed and printed.
Our final stop will be the limestone caves of Batu Caves, which has three caverns and numerous smaller caves. This entire cave is a religious site of worship for Hindus. A flight of 272 steps lead up to the main cavern where various altars are housed. Another cave called the ‘Museum Cave’ is filled with images of Hindu deities and murals depicting scenes from their religious books.

- Rates quoted are nett with driver and guide where applicable unless otherwise stated.
- Rates quoted are for a minimum of 2 adults.

- Booking is not confirmed until a confirmation number is advised and FULL PAYMENT is collected.
- A valid major credit card number is required with all reservations. Debit Cards are not accepted for confirming reservations. Full payment will be collected upon confirmation. Payment will be forfeited if booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to pick-up date and in the event of no show.
- For bookings cancelled 8 to 14 days prior to pick-up date, a 50% cancellation charge will apply.
- For any bookings cancelled more than 14 working days prior to the pick-up date, a sum of MYR50.00 or 5% of the total cost (whichever is higher) is charged for administration fees. Such cancellation MUST be made by email of fax to Asia Web Direct (M) Sdn Bhd.
- Any changes to your reservation, amendment in booking dates, hour or vehicle type in full or in part, must be made through our office and NOT through the operator.
The amendments must be made in writing, quoting the booking reference number and the email address you originally used to make your booking.
All amendment requests are subject to reconfirmation and availability.
If the amendment results in a refund of payment, an administration fee will be charged on the amount to be refunded equivalent to 5% of the total value or MYR50, whichever is greater.

- Child Policy: Child Rate applicable for children aged between 2 to 12 years.
